About The Position
This advertisement is for a Permanent Full-Time Office Technician (Typing) position with Peace Officer Selection and Employee Development - Office of Training and Professional Development. The position is located at the Correctional Training Center in Galt, Sacramento County, which prepares cadets to become Correctional Officers by providing on-site institutional training. The center also offers specialized custody training for current CDCR staff to enhance their skills physically and mentally. The main communication for this position will be through email, and a valid email address is required on the application. A typing certificate is mandatory and must be submitted with the employment application. Individuals eligible for Training and Development may be considered for this position. All hires are subject to hiring freeze and/or budget approval.
