About The Position

Assists with the day-to-day operations of the ASM office(s), including the overall maintenance and upkeep for all leased ASM space.  Provides general facilities support as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 0-2 years of experience
  • Please note this position is part-time, approximately 15 hours/week working at our ASM HQ in Fairfax VA
  • Ability to learn quickly and think on one's feet
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and navigating the Internet
  • Exhibits good decision making skills
  • Excellent internal and external customer service skills
  • Detail oriented and strong time management and multitasking skills
  • Must be able to reach, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch or crawl and work in tight spaces.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. and move objects to various places within the facility.

Nice To Haves

  • Valid/current driver's license in order to travel to various company facilities as needed is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors the ASM HQ Facilities email and reacts accordingly.
  • Monitors the Office Supply Request email and fills requests as necessary as well as submitting Peapod orders weekly.
  • Stocks all kitchens with consumable products (i.e. coffee, napkins, utensils, etc.) and fruit and snack items as required through the week.
  • Stocks all admin supply areas with consumable products (i.e. pens, writing paper, staples, etc.), on a weekly basis.
  • Stocks all printer pods and copy areas with consumable products (i.e. paper, toner, etc.), on a weekly basis.
  • Walks the floors at ASM office(s) checking for cleanliness, burned out lights, carpet stains and overall compliance in accordance with ASM policies.
  • Provides support for corporate functions (i.e. brown bag lunches, all-hands meeting, new hire orientation, etc.), ensuring all scheduled event areas are in excellent condition before, during, and after the event.
  • Checks the ASM mailbox daily, delivering all mail to the receptionist for distribution.
  • Provides back-up reception coverage to include greeting visitors, issuing badge access, and answering the phones.
  • Maintains a sense of urgency and responds to and follow-ups on all requests in a timely and efficient manner.
