About The Position

Under the supervision of the Executive Director, supervises and coordinates, plans, delegates, informs, communicates, directs, interprets, approves, organizes, prepares, verifies, maintains, reviews, processes, handles, audits: personnel, data records, etc., all functions related to accounts receivable, admission-dismissals, communication, cashiering, filing and patient account services: Physician clinic treats a variety of age ranges to include infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Supervisor may have primary responsibility in one section of practice, but will be expected to provide supervision to all areas as needed.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years of supervisory experience.
  • Up to two (2) years of accounts receivable experience.
  • Medical practice background.
  • Proficient in computer use including accounting software, Microsoft Office products, EMR, and practice management software.
  • High School graduation with two years of college with emphasis on business courses preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate personnel and data records.
  • Plan and delegate tasks related to accounts receivable.
  • Inform and communicate with staff regarding procedures.
  • Direct and interpret policies and procedures.
  • Approve and organize patient account services.
  • Prepare and verify documentation related to admissions and dismissals.
  • Maintain and review filing and cashiering functions.
  • Audit accounts receivable processes.
