About The Position

Gathers pertinent patient information so patients can be scheduled, verified/authorized and pre-registered prior to initiation of rehab services. Assists with verifying insurance or other third party coverage, obtaining pre-certification, coordinating financial issues with internal and external departments, and resolving or referring non-financial concerns of the patient to the appropriate department or agency. Enters data into computer systems

Requirements

  • Graduate from high school or equivalent.
  • Computer skills necessary including but not limited to word processing.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a medical setting preferred.
  • Experience in a rehab setting preferred.
