About The Position

The position involves maintaining the appearance, order, and cleanliness of the corporate support sites located in Claysburg and Altoona. The role requires monitoring public areas, responding to employee requests for cleaning, and ensuring that restrooms and break areas are well-stocked and clean. The individual will also be responsible for setting up conference rooms, collaborating with the catering department, and assisting with mailroom tasks.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• No prior experience required.
• No licenses or certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor public areas throughout the day for removal of all litter and emptying of trash receptacles.
• Respond to calls from employees for spills for immediate cleaning.
• Inspect all restrooms throughout the day for cleanliness and maintenance of an adequate supply of toiletries.
• Clean mirrors, wipe down sinks and toilets, and remove dirt, stains, and trash.
• Stock all coffee/break areas with coffee, water, and condiments.
• Arrange conference rooms in various layouts based on employee requests.
• Monitor conference room schedule to inspect for cleanliness and proper setup in between scheduled meetings.
• Collaborate with the catering department to ensure spaces are set up appropriately when food is requested.
• Audit first aid kit supplies and AED battery status.
• Perform tasks assigned on the electronic work order system, including using technology to take before/after pictures.
• Assist mailroom staff in accepting deliveries at the loading dock and reception area.
• Communicate with mail staff and security to ensure deliveries are received and sent in a timely manner.
• Monitor and order supplies from central supply, staples, and other local vendors as needed.
• Assist in maintaining office management expectations at Shwellness Center and Sproul Warehouse.
• Assist in daily clean-up of the outside of the buildings, including cleaning ground level windows and picking up litter.
