How you’ll make an impact in this role Warmly greet and check-in and check-out all patients and visitors, handling necessary documentation and ensuring a positive first impression. Expertly manage patient appointments, including scheduling, confirmation, and processing requests for medical record releases. Carefully manage and verify patient demographic and Medical Insurance details, including obtaining all required Pre-Authorizations and Authorizations to ensure continuity of care. Accurately enter and review daily charges for patient services and manage co-payments, deposits, and daily report reconciliations to maintain financial integrity. Provide essential administrative support to your colleagues, helping to keep our office running smoothly and efficiently so the clinical team can focus on care.

Requirements

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Nice To Haves

  • At least one year of experience in a Medical Clinic or Medical Group setting.
  • One or more years of experience with Medical Insurance, Pre-Authorizations, and Authorizations.
