About The Position

Requirements

  • BS/BA and 2 years of relevant experience -OR- MS/MA or higher -OR- AA and 12 years of relevant experience -OR- HS/GED and 14 years of relevant experience.
  • Qualifying experience in national security or radiation detection/protection operations.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in project management, international relations, or security-related field.
  • Successful experience in business and management situations with government sponsors.
  • Familiarity with the Department of Energy (DOE)/National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA).
  • Knowledge of contracting principles and business practices.

Responsibilities

  • Assist RPMs and Deputy RPMs in developing and coordinating the implementation of security systems, operational security, risk analysis, and security policy.
  • Provide technical and project management support for developing and implementing domestic nonproliferation and security policies.
  • Coordinate team activities, including collecting monthly status information for performance reporting.
  • Help with travel planning and coordinate with support and sustainability staff for successful implementation trips.
  • Assist in developing and implementing training, exercises, procedures, and logistics strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with federal, state, and local authorities regarding policies and operations.
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and analyses of systems to support troubleshooting and identify opportunities for enhancements.
  • Serve as the Technical Oversight Representative (TOR) for implementation contracts and manage project lifecycle tasks.
  • Submit Baseline Change Requests (BCRs) and Replacement Device Assessments (RDAs) in the G2 system.
  • Update monthly P6 status sheets for accurate project tracking and reporting.
