Pima County Health Department (PCHD) is offering eight (8) paid summer internship positions of up to 400 hours each, providing aspiring public health professionals with valuable hands-on experience. This grant-funded temporary position represents one of eight (8) internship opportunities. The internship will run from 5/18/2026 - 7/31/2026. For students seeking academic credit with this internship, an active Affiliation Agreement between the academic institution and Pima County Health Department must already be established. Housing will be offered to students for the duration of the internship. This classification is in the unclassified service and is exempt from the Pima County Merit System Rules. Essential Functions: As defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act, this classification may include any of the following tasks, knowledge, skills, and other characteristics.
