About The Position
Avita Health System serves the communities of Crawford and Richland counties through three hospitals and numerous clinic locations, employing over 2,300 team members and more than 200 physicians and advanced practitioners. The mission is to deliver high-quality, compassionate care. The Medical Assistant position is within the Health Services Department at the Ontario location. This role involves performing a variety of administrative and direct care services to promote patient comfort and customer satisfaction, and is responsible for patient flow throughout the visitation process and performing required procedures and tasks as directed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification or obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Valid driver’s license.
Nice To Haves
- Certification or Registration as a Medical Assistant, STNA, EMT or Paramedic.
