The Office Manager at Ring Container Technologies plays a crucial role in the Operations team, utilizing unique talents, experience, skills, education, and enthusiasm to contribute to the company's vision. This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including employee services, benefits administration, and support for plant management. The Office Manager is expected to maintain employee records, manage recruitment processes, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

  • Perform Employee Services responsibilities at the plant, including candidate assessments and background screenings.
  • Set up and maintain employee Workday files and associated documents.
  • Act as a liaison between employees and management.
  • Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding.
  • Manage employee attendance points and accrued hours.
  • Ongoing recruiting of talent and open positions.
  • Attend local career fairs and community events.
  • Manage job postings and candidates through the recruiting/onboarding process.
  • Maintain payroll records and submit bi-weekly time cards.
  • Manage relationships with temp agencies and ensure proper onboarding.
  • File and manage worker’s comp claim processes.
  • Administer enrollment and coverage changes for employee benefits.
  • Promote the company Wellness program.
  • Support ERP and EAM system needs as designated by the Plant Manager.
  • Maintain office supply levels and coordinate purchases.
  • Schedule and coordinate plant programs and events.
  • Support the development and maintenance of food safety and quality systems.
  • Coordinate safety training and maintain safety documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • 2-3 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Associates Degree preferred, with experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and coordinate multiple activities.
  • Exhibit a sense of urgency, accountability, and professionalism.
  • Proficient in computer software such as ERP, EAM, PowerPoint, MS Office, and NWA Quality Analyst.
