About The Position

As an Office Manager, you will lead and oversee the operations of the practice, ensuring excellent patient care and clinic operations. This role involves evaluating operational goals for growth and success, managing office staff, and providing guidance to team members in their daily tasks. You will be responsible for maintaining compliance with regulations and implementing office policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required, or 5-7 years healthcare experience with at least two (2) years in a supervisory capacity.
  • 3-5 years supervisory experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Working knowledge of Google software, EMR systems, medical and billing terminology, healthcare/hospital office settings, service excellence, revenue cycle operations, and recruiting, training, leading and performance management of staff.
  • Skills in multitasking, decision making, process improvement, project management, interpersonal communication, leadership, computer proficiency, excellent customer service, and business savvy.
  • Ability to operate within the concept of patient-focused care.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare office settings.
  • Familiarity with standard office equipment such as laptops, computers, calculators, fax machines, copiers, phone systems, and scanners.

Responsibilities

  • Management of all practice activities including patient scheduling, registration, financial counseling, medical records, data entry and processing, cash posting, clinic certifications and licenses, required education, inventory and resource utilization.
  • Ensure smooth, accurate, efficient, safe, high quality, compliant, productive operations of assigned medical practices in accordance with state, federal and local regulations and requirements.
  • Develop, implement and maintain office policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate consistent and productive formal and informal communication and practice rounding with all practice personnel, including providers.
  • Develop and review practice related reports: patient satisfaction, quality dashboards, revenue cycle reports, productivity dashboards, etc.
