The Office Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the home care agency, ensuring compliance with all regulations, delivering quality client care, and leading a team of caregivers and administrative staff. This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring strong leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.
2–5 years of management experience in home care, healthcare, or a related service industry.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of home care regulations and best practices.
Proficiency in scheduling systems, EMRs, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Proven ability to multitask, delegate, and manage crises.
Exceptional interpersonal skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Lead daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations.
Oversee and manage agency policies, procedures, and service standards.
Manage critical functions including scheduling, billing, and seamless client service delivery.
Oversee full staff lifecycle, from recruitment and training to supervision and performance evaluations for both field staff and administrative teams.
Ensure adequate caregiver coverage and expertly manage call-outs and emergencies.
Drive client satisfaction through comprehensive intake, individualized care planning, being the main client contact, and resolving concerns.
Maintain meticulous records and conduct regular audits for quality assurance and compliance.
Prepare for and respond to all licensing inspections while continually monitoring key performance metrics.
