About The Position

As Office Manager, you will serve as CONSTANT's central hub for administrative operations, people & culture coordination, and routine business management activities. You will coordinate closely with our HR and IT partners, support hiring and onboarding, manage licenses and compliance documentation, and strengthen organizational systems. To be successful in this role, you'll need to excel at: People & Culture Administration: Coordinate day-to-day and administrative activities with our HR firm and team of managers, including hiring and onboarding, scheduling, cross-company coordination, and support for team culture-building activities Business Operations & Administration: Track and manage routine business management processes, including business licenses/registrations/renewals, contract/vendor management, and internal compliance Internal Communication & Coordination: Coordinate internal company-wide communications aligned with our standards and team culture; support management of internal meetings, including agendas, notes, and follow-up tracking IT Coordination & Internal Systems. Serve as day-to-day point of contact for our IT managed services provider, tracking action items, approving routine requests, and escalating when appropriate; support content updates on Microsoft 365-hosted systems This position is hybrid; most work is performed remotely but with periodic commuting to CONSTANT's headquarters in Alexandria, VA. Outside of commuting, travel is estimated at less than 10%. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in office management, HR coordination, administrative operations, or other directly applicable roles
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to combine multiple ideas into concise messages
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in MS 365 suite, including Teams and SharePoint
  • Ability to commute to Alexandria, VA when necessary. Must reside in: AL, CA, DC, FL, GA, IL, IN, MD, MI, MO, NC, NJ, NM, NY, OH, PA, TN, TX, VA, WA
  • Ability to pass a government-issued background investigation, if necessary

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting government consulting operations, especially in emergency management, public health, or homeland security
  • Familiarity working with outsourced HR or IT partners
  • Proficiency with Unanet or a similar ERM tool
  • Familiarity with Hubspot or a similar CRM tool
