About The Position

A rapidly expanding neurology and behavioral health practice called in Yonkers, New York is seeking a highly capable Office Manager to oversee the administrative and operational functions of the clinic. This position plays a central role in keeping the practice organized, compliant, and running efficiently. The ideal candidate has experience managing a medical office environment and understands how scheduling, billing, insurance, and staff coordination all work together in a busy outpatient setting. This is a leadership role for someone who enjoys taking ownership of workflows, improving systems, and supporting both patients and clinicians.

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience managing a medical office
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Strong understanding of medical scheduling, insurance, and billing workflows
  • Experience supervising staff in a healthcare setting
  • Familiarity with EHR and medical billing software
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast -paced clinical environment
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and problem -solving ability

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily front office and administrative operations
  • Supervise front desk, scheduling, and clinical support staff
  • Maintain provider schedules and patient appointment flow
  • Ensure accurate patient registration, documentation, and record management
  • Manage insurance verification, eligibility, and prior authorization processes
  • Oversee medical billing, claims submission, payment posting, and issue resolution
  • Handle patient billing questions and insurance discrepancies
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and regulatory standards
  • Coordinate communication between providers, billing teams, and administrative staff
  • Track office performance, workflow efficiency, and revenue cycle activity
  • Maintain EHR data accuracy and documentation standards
  • Manage office supplies and administrative resources
  • Address patient concerns and ensure a positive experience
  • Provide administrative support to physicians, nurse practitioners, and leadership
