About The Position

The Office Manager will oversee the administrative and operational functions for Manulife Forest Management in northeast Washington and Idaho. This role is crucial for managing office activities, ensuring efficient operations, and supporting various land management and stewardship programs. The position is based in Colville, WA, and involves collaboration with multiple stakeholders and departments.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft software suite (includes Outlook/email or something similar).
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills.
  • Team player - able to understand and work with different personalities.
  • Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills.
  • An associate or bachelor's degree in business or other applicable field is desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the office, ensuring a productive and efficient work environment.
  • Manage inventories of field forestry supplies and office supplies.
  • Coordinate facilities security and maintenance.
  • Implement office policies and procedures.
  • Field calls and manage shared office email account to respond to inquiries from the public, internal staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide support to land management activities, stewardship programs, safety teams, acquisitions and dispositions teams, portfolio management, and client services group.
  • Liaise with accounting and finance departments to ensure accurate financial records and policy compliance.
  • Provide administrative support to managers, including scheduling and organizing meetings and preparing reports.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Area Manager or Region Manager.
