About The Position

Mutares SE & Co. KGaA, Munich (www.mutares.com), as a listed private equity holding company, acquires medium-sized companies in special situations, which show significant operational improvement potential and are sold again after undergoing a repositioning and stabilization process. Mutares actively support its portfolio companies with its own investment and operations teams and through strategic add-on acquisitions. The focus is on companies with revenues ranging from USD 120 million to USD 850 million, across various industries. The aim is to achieve a clear value increase with a focus on sustainable, long-term growth of the portfolio company. We are excited to announce the opening of our new office in Chicago. As we expand our footprint and continue our growth journey, we are looking for a professional and driven part-time Office Manager (m/f/d) to join our team. Requirements

  • Entry-Level position, previous experience is a plus
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor with a professional appearance and a strong service-oriented mindset
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Business fluency in English, with the ability to communicate with a high level of discretion and professionalism

Responsibilities

  • Oversee front desk operations, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment for all visitors and staff
  • Coordinate day-to-day office operations by handling general administrative duties
  • Manage office supply inventory and place orders as needed
  • Support the Human Resources department with payroll processing and manage employee records
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
