The Dallas office of Kaufman Dolowich, an AV-rated® firm recognized as one of the “Best Companies to Work For,” is seeking an Office Manager to join our team. The Office Manager plays a crucial role in the daily operations of the office, ensuring that all activities are coordinated and monitored effectively. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage various tasks and responsibilities while maintaining a positive work environment. In this role, the Office Manager will oversee the maintenance of office equipment and supplies, ensuring that everything is in working order and readily available for staff use. They will manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and the landlord, ensuring that all contracts and agreements are upheld. The Office Manager will also supervise and assist administrative staff as needed, providing guidance on deadlines, document production, and coverage during vacations. The Office Manager will participate in the hiring, orientation, termination, training, development, and mentoring of administrative staff, fostering a supportive and productive team environment. They will review and approve semi-monthly time sheets and submit them to HR, ensuring accurate payroll processing. Additionally, the Office Manager will handle confidential materials related to Equity Partners' meetings and renew attorney memberships, including state and local bar registrations and continuing legal education (CLE) registrations. Participation in the planning and execution of company events is also a key responsibility, as is drafting case intake forms for new matters and editing pre-bills for the office. The Office Manager will complete billing procedures for private client matters and assist with conflict checks for all new matters. Other duties may be assigned as needed to support the firm and office operations, making this a dynamic and engaging position.
