About The Position

Roth Cadillac is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Manager/Controller to join our team in Erie, PA. This vital role combines the responsibilities of overseeing daily office operations with the critical function of managing the company's financial controls. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring that both administrative and accounting functions run smoothly and efficiently, supporting the overall success and growth of our dealership. You will be the backbone of our office, coordinating various activities, streamlining processes, and ensuring accurate financial reporting that meets company standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Office Manager, Controller, or in a similar role, preferably within the automotive or retail industry.
  • Strong accounting knowledge and proficiency with financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise calmly and professionally with staff, vendors, and management.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a high level of accuracy and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and generate insightful reports that inform business decisions.
  • Experience in managing staff and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to adapt in a fast-paced dealership setting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all day-to-day office operations, including administrative support, workflow coordination, and staff supervision.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
  • Coordinate and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Supervise accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate billing and collections.
  • Work closely with the sales and service departments to reconcile daily cash and credit transactions.
  • Prepare budgets, monitor expenditures, and report variances to senior management, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Lead and mentor office staff to promote a positive work environment and optimize team productivity.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to obtain the best service terms and pricing.
  • Implement and oversee office technology and software systems to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
