Vaco is hiring a Bookkeeper / Office Manager for a full time, direct hire opportunity on the east side of Indianapolis. The Business Operations Specialist is an onsite role and will work Mon-Fri, 8am - 5pm. This person will assist with a Bookkeeper / Office Manager functions across Accounting and HR.

  • Assist with accounting responsibilities and bookkeeping- AP, AR, Payrolling, etc.
  • Assist with HR responsibilities such as employee onboarding and training
  • Participate in company ERP/ HR system implementation
  • Communicating effectively with employees and management
  • Maintaining office records and files
  • Experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping with the ability to do accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
  • Experience assisting with HR responsibilities
  • Previous experience working in construction or trade services industry is preferred
  • Strong ability to execute projects from beginning to end
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
