About The Position

The Finance Manager at St. Katharine Drexel Preparatory School is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
• Proven experience in finance management or a similar role within a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in balance sheet reconciliation, cash flow analysis, budgeting, cost accounting, investment management, cost control, strategic planning, account reconciliation, fiscal management, and overall financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Strong leadership abilities with effective communication skills to present complex financial information clearly.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
• 5 years of experience in accounting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial statements.
• Implement cost control measures and perform cost accounting to optimize resource allocation.
• Lead investment management strategies to maximize returns while minimizing risks.
• Develop and execute strategic planning initiatives that align with organizational goals.
• Prepare detailed financial reports for stakeholders, providing insights into fiscal management and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business decisions through financial analysis and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to financial practices.
