About The Position

Cognito Therapeutics, Inc. is a venture-backed startup translating scientific findings from MIT into therapeutic approaches for Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative conditions. The company has been awarded a Breakthrough designation by the FDA and is set to initiate a pivotal study for first-line treatment of Alzheimer's. The Executive & Office Administrator will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations for the executive team, requiring a proactive and organized individual who can manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years senior executive level support required.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Extremely strong project and time management skills; detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
  • Able to recognize and appropriately handle highly sensitive and confidential material.
  • Excellent follow-up and follow-through with ability to stay on top of and anticipate competing and changing priorities.
  • Proactive and able to work independently, showing initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with discretion, diplomacy, and tact.
  • Strong sense of judgment, high integrity, and ability to keep key information confidential.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Enthusiastically greeting all contacts: vendors and personnel consistently, offering a warm, hospitable demeanor.
  • Performing a broad range of administrative support activities requiring efficiency, initiative, and judgment.
  • Supporting all Executive Team in related administrative tasks, including maintaining and coordinating calendars, scheduling meetings, and arranging travel.
  • Supporting HR in coordinating company outings, team meetings, and other community endeavors, including travel and event coordination.
  • Acting as chief liaison by managing all incoming calls, email, and mail; providing information in response to requests.
  • Maintaining the workspace for optimal working conditions, with a hybrid role of 3 days on-site per week.
  • Supporting G&A Business Operations Manager in the development and maintenance of improvement processes.
  • Managing company assets and supply inventory, including tracking and purchasing.
  • Prioritizing conflicting needs and following through on projects to successful completion under deadline pressures.
  • Demonstrating confidentiality in the execution of all tasks.
