About The Position

KDG Construction Consulting is seeking a detail-oriented Office Engineer to support terminal construction projects at Ontario International Airport. This role will play a key part in project coordination, document control, and RFI management, ensuring efficient communication between field teams, contractors, and stakeholders. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience supporting construction projects (aviation or public works preferred)
  • Experience with RFI tracking and document control systems
  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms is a plus
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • RFI & Submittal Management
  • Track, log, and manage Requests for Information (RFIs) from issuance through resolution
  • Coordinate responses between design teams, contractors, and project management
  • Maintain accurate RFI logs and ensure timely follow-ups
  • Terminal Project Support
  • Provide administrative and technical support for ongoing terminal construction work
  • Assist with tracking project milestones, schedules, and deliverables
  • Support field teams with documentation and coordination needs
  • Meeting Coordination
  • Schedule and coordinate project meetings (OACs, progress meetings, coordination meetings)
  • Prepare agendas, meeting minutes, and action item logs
  • Distribute meeting documentation and track follow-ups
  • Document Control
  • Maintain project document control systems (drawings, specs, submittals, change orders)
  • Ensure proper version control and document distribution
  • Archive and organize records in accordance with project and client standards
  • General Office Engineering Duties
  • Assist Project Managers and Construction Managers with daily reporting and project administration
  • Support cost tracking, contract documentation, and change management processes
  • Interface with stakeholders to ensure smooth information flow
