Your work environment at EXP In this role, you will be a part of the Transportation team, of the US South Sector, based in our Rome or Atlanta GA office and have the opportunity to work on a variety of transportation and infrastructure projects.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Four (4) years of road & bridge construction engineering inspection experience having performed/assisted in project related duties (i.e., reviewing and processing progress and reports, EEO compliance, processing Maintenance Contract modifications, etc.) or have Civil Engineering Technology degree.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment in planning work details and making technical decisions related to the office project.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing, managing and reviewing project documentation, contracts, and reports.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
  • Maintain accurate records of construction activities, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Support project scheduling, cost tracking, and progress reporting.
  • Review and provide comment on contractor prepared schedules, quantities and cost estimates
  • Schedule, attend and document project progress and field meetings.
  • Accurately track contractor work progress related to quantities, schedule and budget
  • Maintain liaison with client and other consultants at all project stages.
  • Assist in resolving project-related issues and facilitating communication among teams.
