About The Position

STV is seeking a Construction Engineering Office Engineering Specialist for our Transportation department based in our New York, NY office . Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and regulatory requirements through review and verification of contractor submissions. Manage and maintain project documentation, including RFIs/RFCs, submittals, daily reports, and change orders. Coordinate and review material sampling and testing to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards, track material certifications and test results. Assist in coordinating project schedules, tracking progress, and maintaining accurate records of construction activities. Support field inspection teams by providing technical guidance, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with project requirements. Communicate effectively with agency representatives, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders to facilitate project success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 of years of experience in construction engineering and inspection
  • MTA C&D regarding sequence of field and/or construction activities
  • Familiarity with CE&I processes, contract administration, and construction documentation.
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam Revit, PMIS, Primavera P6, Procore
  • MTA NYC Track Safety Certification
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to work on-site as needed.

  • Prior NY CE&I experience
  • OSHA 30 Hour Construction Training
