SYSTRA's Construction Management unit is seeking Office Engineers - Field to support our current rail mass transit construction projects in operating railroad environments in the New York City Area.

Requirements

• Minimum Five (5) years of engineering experience
• Bachelors degree in engineering, construction management, or related field preferred
• Experience and Proficiency with one or more project management software packages such as Expedition, Prolog or Constructware
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Use Established Software and Databases in the Performance of Document Control Functions
• Receive, Distribute, and Respond to Contractor Submittals/Deliverables
• Arrange Meetings as required with client Engineering and Construction Management Personnel
• Write Memos, Letters, and Meeting Minutes relevant to Project Activities
• Utilize Expertise and Experience to Assist in Timely Resolution of Project Issues
• Accept Flexible Work Hours including Occasional Nights and Weekends when necessary
• Generate Weekly and Monthly Project Summary Reports
• Assist the Project Manager in Managing Various Project Meetings
• Assist in Change Order Negotiations
• Maintain a Computer-Based Digital Photo Record of Construction Progress
