About The Position

The Law Offices of John Day, P.C. is a well-established law firm located in Brentwood, Tennessee, with additional offices in Murfreesboro and Nashville. The firm specializes in personal injury and wrongful death cases, providing exceptional legal representation to clients throughout Tennessee in both state and federal courts. As the firm continues to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Coordinator to join our team. This full-time position is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our office and supporting our commitment to high-quality legal services. The Office Coordinator will be responsible for a variety of operational and administrative functions that are crucial for maintaining efficient office operations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative team environment, demonstrating strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills. They will be accountable for their work, detail-oriented, and highly organized, capable of managing multiple tasks with accuracy and speed. Strong writing skills and experience in documenting processes and procedures are essential for this role. The Office Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting the overall success of the firm and ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of client service. Key responsibilities include coordinating daily office administration, acting as the primary point of contact for office-related inquiries from firm employees, and maintaining organized files and records. The Office Coordinator will also assist with the onboarding process for new employees, including conducting orientation overviews, setting up office equipment, and completing necessary paperwork. Additionally, they will support employee relations by ensuring compliance with firm policies and procedures, coordinate firm meetings (including those requiring videoconferencing), and plan various law firm events such as team-building activities and staff appreciation celebrations. Furthermore, the Office Coordinator will provide administrative support for the firm's tech operations, manage office contracts, oversee maintenance and repairs, and maintain common areas within the office.
