Job Summary As our Office Coordinator , you will play a vital role in creating an exceptional patient experience from the first phone call through the full course of care. Serving as the primary front-office contact, you’ll ensure smooth daily operations by coordinating scheduling, onboarding new patients, verifying insurance, and supporting communication between patients and clinicians. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and enjoys being the organizational hub of a healthcare team.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED, required
  • 1 year of experience working in a front office role
  • Knowledge of insurance verification and authorization processes, preferred
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent customer service mindset and professionalism
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-focused environment

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a Physical Therapy clinic is a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact, creating a welcoming and professional patient experience
  • Schedule, reschedule, and manage patient appointments efficiently
  • Complete patient registration, insurance verification, and authorization tracking
  • Collect payments and manage patient balances accurately
  • Monitor claims, denials, and insurance discrepancies
  • Coordinate schedules and communicate changes or authorization needs with clinicians
  • Maintain clear communication to support seamless patient care delivery
  • Communicate with referral sources and respond promptly to requests
  • Complete medical record requests accurately and efficiently
