The Office Coordinator is responsible on a daily basis for ensuring the smooth operation of the office, as well as providing support and reporting to the department Director. The Office Coordinator works together with other team members to provide high quality and timely support to the work of the organization. The Office Coordinator may assist in monitoring, assessing and identifying strategies to improve services, systems and process in the designated area. This position will have a significant role in personnel administration and employee relations and may involve resolution of grievances and in providing input for collective bargaining. This position aids department management in a confidential capacity.The incumbent may attend management meetings and may be involved directly or indirectly around confidential management decisions
