Our job is hope. Join a purpose-driven community of champions. The position purpose is to provide clerical and administrative services to support operations to departmental staff and program clients.
Work hours prescribed and any additional hours deemed necessary for the responsibilities assigned.
Greet clients and visitors, collect and post payments.
Maintain scheduling logs including referral and intake schedules.
Answer and direct calls appropriately. Make reminder calls.
Conduct financial interviews with clients, update and register clients in database.
Maintain clinical file room, file paperwork as assigned.
Review clinical data and communicate discrepancies with supervisor & counselors.
Distribute clinical charts for the service each day.
Maintain visitors log, prescription log and intake log.
Open & close office per clinic protocol.
Assist office support team as needed.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
High School diploma or GED
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Strong Customer Service skills and customer service oriented.
Work experience in a professional office setting (preferred).
Proficiency with use of an electronic health record system.
Phone and/or reception experience.
Organization and multi-tasking abilities.
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently.
Excellent spelling, proofreading and grammar skills.
Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
Must be able to work independently and with a team.
General understanding of Substance Use Disorders/Mental Health Disorders (preferred).
