About The Position

Provides professional and administrative support to department and division leadership and faculty. Serves as Ophthalmology triage, responsible for handling urgent family needs. If you are selected for this position, you will be asked to supply your immunization records as proof of vaccination. If you and have any concerns about receiving these vaccines, medical and/or religious exemptions can be further discussed with Human Resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 1-2 years experience
  • Associate's Degree and 3-5 years experience
  • HS Diploma or equivalent and 5-7 years experience

Nice To Haves

  • Ophthamology experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Handle phone calls with urgent appointment requests
  • Manage portal messages from families and internal departments, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Complete administrative tasks such as prior authorizations, FMLA paperwork, and other required documentation.
  • Support clinic flow:
  • Fill open appointment slots
  • Respond to family requests
  • Address urgent needs via phone while technicians are occupied with patients in clinic
