Position Summary To administratively support the functions of the practice specialty by assisting any physicians, nurse practitioners, staff and patients. Ensures patient services are captured and included in the office visit for accurate documentation. Education High School Diploma or equivalent required. College degree or equivalent preferred. Experience Prior experience in medical practice/facility. Skills Strong Communication skills and Math skills. Ability to operate general office equipment and computers. Competent in Microsoft Office software and EMR systems. Ability to work well under pressure, tolerate frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule. Ability to set priorities, effective problem solving of complex situations, organized. Demonstrates behavior that is courteous, caring, respectful, and compassionate at all times. Demonstrates ability to listen and respond in a non-judgmental manner, with clear expectations.
