About The Position

The Office Clerk is responsible for administrative duties that supports the program and staff. The position is located at the Standing Rock Tribal Service Center, Fort Yates, ND.

Requirements

  • A two-year degree in Business Administration preferred.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • One-year experience working in an office setting.
  • Must be able to carry out both verbal and written instructions.
  • Must have excellent customer service and maintain courtesy, composure, and tact when dealing with the public.
  • Must sign a program confidentiality statement with the understanding of penalties for any violations.
  • Must have the ability to learn and use Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls and transfer calls to appropriate staff.
  • Route program documents for signatures to required department.
  • Educate and assist parents and providers with applications, missing documents, and copies of information.
  • Conduct audits for missing information.
  • Audit applicants and send requests to parents and providers for missing documents.
  • Maintain parent and provider files.
  • Check the mail and open for bill processing.
  • Assist in completing the ACF 700 report.
  • Maintain and update master list/record of active parent and provider list with correct contact information.
  • Process received bills and process purchase orders.
  • Assist with conducting reconciliation of program cuff accounts.
  • Ensure vendor information is correct and updated across department and finance systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.
