About The Position

The Office Clerk will assist the Executive Secretary, fill in for absences and perform assigned tasks.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or HiSet
  • Basic computer skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Competency working in a culturally diverse environment or the willingness to acquire these skills

Responsibilities

  • Update and deliver information for staff.
  • Distribute faxes as they are received.
  • Make copies for the office and staff.
  • Keep address listing up to date.
  • Order supplies for the main office, teacher’s workroom, and related office equipment.
  • Upkeep, order and refill postage machine.
  • Print and update teachers’ sub folders.
  • Maintain and update staff phone list as needed.
  • Make copies of the weekly bulletin for staff and distribute.
  • Attend work on a prompt and regular basis.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Maintain satisfactory and harmonious working relationships with the public, students, and other employees.
  • Assist with other duties as may be assigned.
