About The Position

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One (1) year experience in an office setting
  • Regularly needs to bend, stoop and reach to file and organize files
  • Ability to lift 11 to 25 pounds of files to storage area when necessary
  • Ability to remain on feet for long periods of time while filing and sorting mail
  • Ability to deal with clients/customers in a calm and effective manner

Responsibilities

  • Sort and distribute mail to appropriate departments, retaining all insurance checks
  • Retains mail returns and performs skip trace process
  • Opens Credit Counselors mail and prepares it for contact
  • Per the direction of the supervisor- reviews, prices, and prepares payment to physicians according to the Self pay/Consulting agreement
  • General office tasks to assist the credit counselors on a as needed basis
  • Processes ad-hoc requests for assistants with projects and other duties efficiently with the end in mind
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor
