About The Position

IES Residential is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Office Clerk to provide essential administrative and clerical support to keep daily operations running smoothly. This position is part-time, with the potential to grow into a full-time role based on performance and business needs. The ideal candidate will be organized, professional, and eager to contribute to a collaborative office environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of clerical or administrative experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
  • Experience in the construction or electrical contracting industry is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and clients courteously and professionally.
  • Answer, screen, and route phone calls on a multi-line system.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office area.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Maintain paper and electronic filing systems.
  • Perform data entry and general office recordkeeping accurately.
  • Monitor and organize office supplies and assist with reordering as needed.
  • Assist in coordinating meetings, appointments, and conference calls.
  • Take accurate messages and distribute information promptly.
  • Support communication between office staff, field teams, and vendors.
  • Create and edit simple documents, reports, and spreadsheets using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Scan, file, and maintain digital documents.
  • Provide support to both office and field personnel as needed.
  • Assist with travel coordination, purchase orders, or vendor communications.
  • Help ensure the office runs efficiently day to day.
