The Office Clerk position at AppleOne involves providing administrative support in an insurance company setting. The role includes greeting visitors, managing phone calls, sorting mail, scheduling appointments, and performing various clerical tasks. The clerk will also assist executives with administrative assignments and maintain communication with insurance agents and the Human Resources/Admin Manager.

  • Greet, welcome, and direct visitors appropriately.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls, providing basic information as needed.
  • Receive and sort daily mail, deliveries, and couriers.
  • Update appointment calendars and schedule meetings/appointments.
  • Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, collating, faxing, and data entry.
  • Support executives with administrative assignments.
  • Renew policies in the database and issue certificates of insurance.
  • Work closely with insurance agents to provide information for processing applications and communicate details to customers.
  • Assist the Human Resources/Admin Manager with various tasks.
  • Perform light accounting duties and manage accounts receivables.
  • High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
  • 2+ years of receptionist experience required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software.
  • Experience in an insurance office preferred but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry is a plus.
  • Proven working experience in a front office handling receptionist responsibilities.
  • Applied TAM Online experience preferred.
