About The Position

Old Dominion is seeking a dedicated Service Center Office Clerk to join our OD Family Culture. This role is essential in providing administrative support to the service center staff, ensuring the timely, accurate, and thorough maintenance of files, logs, and records. The Office Clerk will also be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers, embodying our commitment to excellence and family spirit. In this position, the Office Clerk will assist service center personnel in achieving high levels of productivity and smooth operations. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining daily paperwork necessary for moving freight, including DOT files, while ensuring confidentiality, accuracy, and timeliness. The Office Clerk will also prepare various documents and reports using AS400 and SAP, answer phones, and provide customers with rate quotes and delivery information. This role is pivotal in maintaining the operational flow and ensuring customer satisfaction, which is at the heart of Old Dominion's mission to be the premier transportation solutions provider.
