  • Track incoming EMS information and request missing data from hospitals.
  • Verify insurance information and process claims and invoices.
  • Assist with claim/payment/denial research and data entry as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data and interact with the public.
  • Operate office machines including personal computers, fax machines, and copiers.
  • High school graduation or equivalent, supplemented by business courses.
  • Experience in general clerical work and answering multi-line phones.
  • Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures, and equipment.
  • Ability to maintain clerical records and operate a personal computer.
  • Strong understanding of business English, grammar, spelling, and arithmetic.
  • Experience in medical office procedures or medical billing preferred.
