About The Position

As a Facilities Cleaning Associate / Office Cleaner, you'll play a valued role in our dedicated team of five, reporting directly to our Facilities Manager. Together, you will ensure that every corner of our corporate headquarters shines, both inside and out. Your commitment to excellence will enhance the comfort of staff and visitors alike, all while championing sustainability, promoting recycling, and utilizing eco-friendly products.
Requirements
- Prior experience. 2+ years of experience in a professional team environment, where you honed essential skills in time and task management, effective communication, and prioritization.
- A sharp focus on detail. From cleaning fingerprints to helping manage the team's task list, your keen observation ensures nothing goes unnoticed. For you, it’s the little things that make a big difference, and you’re always ready to take the initiative.
- Desire to be part of a team. You work well independently but thrive in a collaborative environment, where working together elevates everyone’s performance to high standards. When changes arise, you take the initiative to connect with your teammates through a quick chat or a friendly email, ensuring everyone stays aligned and informed.
- Skilled at the Priority Shuffle. No two days are the same, and unexpected tasks pop up. But, you know when to pivot and shuffle your priorities like a pro!
- The physical stamina. Your day is a dynamic workout! From sweeping and scrubbing to lifting and organizing, you enjoy being on your feet, keeping the rhythm of cleanliness alive.
Nice To Haves
- Professional cleaning experience is preferred but not required. While having prior cleaning experience in a corporate setting is a bonus, what truly matters is your demonstrated passion for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and your eagerness to be part of a collaborative team. We value knowing you take pride in maintaining beautiful spaces inside and out.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain offices, lunch/break room, conference/meeting rooms, restrooms, and locker room, including surfaces, interior windows, etc.
- Sweep, mop, scrub, or vacuum floors, including using heavy-duty janitorial equipment for stripping and waxing.
- Collect and dispose of trash, recycling, and compost.
- Organize, operat,e and empty dishwashers
- Remove debris, clear snow, and power wash walkways as needed.
- Maintain indoor and outdoor gardens by weeding and watering.
- Move and arrange furniture for space relocations, company events, and other needs.
- Assist with building opening/closing procedures as needed.
