SALARY (Non-negotiable) $38,417 - $52,083 with benefits package (Based on verifiable experience in field) Paygrade 7 HOURS 40 hours, 12 months (260 days) Bargaining Unit: This position is part of the non-supervisory Support Services collective bargaining unit FLSA: Non exempt QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma. Post secretarial training preferred with focus on clerical and bookkeeping. Five (5) years office experience. Applicable post-secondary training may be accepted in lieu of experience. Capacity to act independently with regard to continuing assignments requiring the organization of materials, handling of routine administrative details, preparation of reports, and sound decision-making. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Ability to use advanced features of Microsoft Word (i.e. merges, tables, sorting, labels, etc.) Publisher, Excel, One Note, PowerPoint, Outlook and to learn new software applications related to the position. Excellent organizational and technology skills. Thorough knowledge of business English, spelling, vocabulary, modern office practices, procedures, and equipment, particularly electronic file storage, maintenance and retrieval. Ability to compose and edit correspondence, memoranda, and other documents from general instructions. Demonstrated ability to use advanced features of various word processing and data base programs such as Microsoft Office, X2 Aspen, Business Plus. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and interact in a positive manner with staff, educators, parents and the general public. Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a variety of situations. Good organizational and self-starter skills with ability to meet deadlines.
