The Office Assistant role at Old World Granite involves providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the front desk and assist with various clerical tasks. The position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate person
  • Schedule appointments and maintain appointment calendar
  • Perform clerical tasks such as scanning documents
  • Transcribe notes and messages accurately
  • Assist with customer support inquiries and provide information about products or services
  • Enter orders into the system accurately and efficiently, assist with deliveries
  • Coordinate projects and tasks as assigned by management
  • Provide personal assistant support to executives as needed
  • Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role preferred
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks or other accounting software is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and transcribing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
