About The Position

SESAC Music Group is looking for a highly organized, service-driven Office Assistant to be the heartbeat of our New York City office. In this role, you’ll do more than keep things running—you’ll shape the day-to-day experience for employees, leaders, and guests. Reporting to the Executive Assistant to the CEO, you’ll partner with leadership while owning the details that make an office feel seamless, welcoming, and efficient. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who takes pride in precision, anticipates needs, and enjoys balancing operational excellence with a people-first mindset. This is a part-time 21 hour a week onsite role located in New York City.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a professional, fast-paced environment
  • Exceptionally strong attention to detail and follow-through—you notice the small things that others miss
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with ease
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset—you anticipate needs before they arise
  • Strong communication skills and a natural ability to build positive relationships
  • Comfort handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (and a willingness to learn new tools quickly)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for the office—creating a warm, professional, and secure environment for employees, candidates, and visitors
  • Manage reception and visitor flow with a strong focus on hospitality and attention to detail
  • Keep the office running smoothly—ensuring spaces are organized, stocked, and fully functional
  • Partner with building management to proactively resolve any facilities-related needs
  • Manage vendors and office services (equipment, supplies, kitchen, etc.) with a focus on quality and efficiency
  • Coordinate in-office meetings and events, including catering, setup, and breakdown
  • Help create an environment where teams can do their best work and feel taken care of
  • Provide thoughtful administrative support to the leadership team, including handling sensitive information with discretion
  • Assist with scheduling and occasional travel coordination
  • Oversee mail, shipments, and deliveries (including FedEx and other carriers)
  • Manage conference room scheduling and overall office flow
  • Jump in on ad hoc projects and tasks as needed
