About The Position

We are a busy manufacturing facility seeking a responsible, well-organized Office Assistant to join our team. This role requires someone who can multitask, assist with day-to-day office operations, and support various departments in a team-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of office experience
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of standard office procedures and equipment (fax, copier, phone system, etc.)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Standard office bookkeeping knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable supporting a team in multiple areas; willingness to learn and grow

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Peachtree/Sage or E2/Shoptech software is helpful but not required

Responsibilities

  • Answer phones with proper etiquette
  • Accurately type quotes, invoices, memos, letters, and other documents
  • Work with spreadsheets and workpapers
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment
  • Support various office and administrative tasks as needed
  • Assist with data entry, accounting, HR, purchasing, and customer/vendor relations
