About The Position

NASA Federal Credit Union is looking for an Office Assistant/Receptionist who will be located at our headquarters in Upper Marlboro, MD. This is a highly visible role and requires the incumbent to have excellent communication skills and experience in a front desk/reception role. This position is full time onsite. The person in this position will receive and welcome visitors, notify employees of visitors, and issue appropriate badges to visitors; assist with various Physical Security, and Retail Services assignments and projects, and communicate effectively to stakeholders inside and outside the organization both verbally and in writing. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following with other duties as assigned. Remains cognizant of and adheres to Credit Union policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act. Welcomes visitors, determines the nature of their business, issues badges, and maintains the visitor log. Maintains an awareness of activity in the parking lot and outside areas and notifies appropriate staff of unusual activity. Assists Retail Services with administrative duties, including mail and payment processing, scanning, and filing documents in electronic file storage systems. Assists Retail Services with new account application reviews. Assists with access control database management, employee access / identification badge issuance and authorized access privilege modifications. Processes returned mail service events in accordance with organization procedures. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements

  • One year of relevant experience
