About The Position

The Office Assistant/Receptionist position at Shopko Optical involves providing essential support to the Optical center team. Requirements

  • Previous experience in an office is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple customer interactions/phone calls at a time.
  • Solid interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in customer service roles.
  • Familiarity with optical billing and point of sale systems.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and customers as they enter the center.
  • Answer the telephone in a professional manner.
  • Book appointments accurately.
  • Confirm appointments and process transactions in the optical billing and point of sale systems.
  • Process medical billing information.
  • Organize and file patient and customer records.
  • Support all other aspects that do not influence a patient's vision.
