Requirements

  • AAS degree required.
  • 1 year of related experience in office setting required.
  • 1 year of related experience in healthcare office setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greets, directs and assists customers.
  • Determines needs of patients and visitors in professional manner.
  • Assures reception area is clean and free of clutter.
  • Serves as Rehab Tech intermittently as needed.
  • Performs specified patient care activities that are within the scope of knowledge and training.
  • Prepares, updates and maintains various spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
  • Performs data entry into various systems as needed.
  • Answers multiple phone lines in timely manner, determines purpose of call, forwards calls as needed, records and forwards messages as needed.
  • Receives and distributes incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Orders supplies and maintains inventory of commonly used items.
  • Compiles emails, letters, meeting minutes, etc as needed.
  • Photocopies and faxes documents as needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task.
  • Exhibits excellent customer service skills, patience, teamwork, and excellent communication skills.
