Office Advanced Provider
About The Position
Capital Cardiology Associates is seeking a full time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our exceptional team of advanced providers. The ideal candidate would have experience or a special interest in cardiology however this is not required as we remain open to new graduates. Our advanced providers work alongside board certified cardiologists to provide the highest quality of cardiac care to exceed our patient’s expectations. We are looking to expand our team in our Albany and Troy office. This is a full-time day position Monday through Friday providing high quality cardiac care in the office setting with rotation to our Enhanced Cardiac Access. There are no weekend, holiday, or on call requirements for this position. Come join a dynamic team of advanced providers as we promote compassionate and innovative care within the community.
Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Current NYS (or applicable state) NP or PA license.
- National certification (ANCC/AANP for NPs, NCCPA for PAs).
- BLS and ACLS required.
- 1–2 years of experience in cardiology or heart failure.
- New graduates with strong cardiac experience may be considered.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment.
