About The Position

We are looking for a reliable Office Administrator for a small, local business who is looking for a company to call home, where they can grow! The tasks of the office administrator will include answering phones, taking messages and data entry. The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision. They will be self\-motivated and trustworthy. The office administrator ensures smooth running of company’s office and contributes to driving sustainable growth.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Must be available M\-F 8am\-5pm.
  • Must be a team player and work well with others.

Nice To Haves

  • Qualifications in secretarial studies will be an advantage.
  • BSc/BA in office administration or relevant field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies.
  • Manage phone calls and correspondence (e\-mail, letters, packages etc.)
  • Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data.
  • Keep inventory of office supplies and place orders when necessary.
  • Assist colleagues whenever necessary.
