About The Position

Contract to Hire Office Administrator – Granger, IN This opening at our client’s high-end office/showroom setting is designed as a full-time position with hours that work within your daily schedule between 7:30am and 5:00pm. The starting pay rate for this role will be set based on the experience level of the candidate selected, with some flexibility to consider a more entry-level team player who is a quick learner and eager to grow. The business is family owned and operated, and it’s important that the person handling office functions is a true team player who is willing to step in and help wherever needed to support daily operations and the overall customer experience. It’s a match for someone who brings previous experience as an administrative assistant or office manager, is comfortable juggling a variety of tasks, and enjoys occasional customer interaction as part of their role. Requirements

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities

  • Ability to understand and communicate (talk-read-hear) work instructions

Responsibilities

  • Providing administrative and office support in a professional showroom environment
  • Assisting customers in person, by phone, and via email as needed
  • Supporting day-to-day office operations and special projects
  • Using computer systems to manage information, documents, and communications
  • Working closely with team members to ensure smooth office flow
