This position is the key frontline Customer Service to MOM’s CSS and supports various departments with organizational tasks and vendor/visitor welcoming. This full-time position is located in-office 5 days a week, typical hours are Monday-Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years' experience in field or career
  • Experience with Google Suite & Microsoft Office
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, especially with communication (written and verbal) and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize tasks that change frequently and manage unexpected demands
  • Dependable and follows instructions
  • Experience in a fast-paced work environment

Responsibilities

  • Answering, screening and routing incoming calls and taking messages.
  • Sorting and distributing mail, shipping, and receiving packages.
  • Working with building management to resolve issues.
  • Maintaining lists and logs, including kitchen supply checklists, mailroom checklist, vehicle usage log, visitor log, etc.
  • Welcoming new hires, assigning and activating key FOBs to employees.
  • Addressing inquiries and responding via letter, phone, email, fax or personal contact.
  • Maintain inventory of office/kitchen supplies, ensuring timely restocking.
  • Completing daily lunch & supplies run to the Rockville Store location.
  • Maintaining daily cleanliness of the kitchen (wiping down counters, tables, running the dishwasher, cleaning out the refrigerator, cleaning appliances, etc).
  • Supporting MOM's culture at CSS with culture acknowledgement boards, email announcements, and monthly newsletter.
  • Assist with the planning, coordination and execution of CSS employee engagement events.
  • Handle E-receipt and gift card troubleshooting and issues.
  • Handle licensing for new and existing stores, including food establishment, weights and measures, waste water discharge, fire, business, alcohol license, life/hazard and more.
  • Assisting executive-level staff with administrative duties as needed, such as scheduling meetings, scanning/printing documents, etc.
